This 2-Day interactive instructor-led online course is for anyone with intermediate knowledge of PowerMill and practical CNC machining experience, or previous users looking for a refresher course. Our PowerMill 5-Axis course is meant to follow everything you've learned with our 2-day Essentials training course by adding 2 additional days of in depth instruction on advanced topics for multi-axis milling. During the additional two days of training, we cover how to get the most out of your 4 and 5 axis machines centers with 3+1, 3+2, and simultaneously 5-axis PowerMill functionality. We'll teach you how to take total control over tool axis orientation, for those complex parts with difficult to reach features. As the complexity of your toolpath increases, so does the likelihood of machine and tool collisions. PowerMill is known for having best in class collision detection and avoidance functionality, and we'll show you how to use it to it's full potential. You'll also learn how you can easily automate your programming processes in PowerMill with our advanced tips and tricks, including introduction to macros and template customization.
